Xbox 360 Connections

To connect an XBOX 360 to the Gator.Net network, you will need to clone your MAC or physical address. (These terms are used interchangeably depending on the operating system you have on your computer.)

Step 1: Get the MAC or physical address

Windows XP

  1. Open your Network Connections
  2. Right Click your local area connection icon
  3. Click on status
  4. Click the support tab
  5. Make a note of the physical address located there

Windows Vista

  1. Open your network and sharing center
  2. Click on manage network connections
  3. Right click the local area connection icon
  4. Click the status button
  5. Make a note of the physical address located there
Step 2: Enter the address into Xbox 360
  1. Open your system blade
  2. Type in the MAC/physical address where it lists alternate MAC addresses
  3. Reboot the Xbox 360

Note: Your computer must currently be authenticated on the Gator.Net network for this process to work.
